God Knows

You may think, "Nobody knows what I'm going through, nobody feels the pain I'm experiencing." God knows, and "God is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate…"

God not only sees, He cares! He knows the causes, the reasons, the things that brought you to this point. He understands because He made you, and He sees the hurt in your heart like nobody else can.

Because God knows our frustrations and despair, we can give those feelings to God: "Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about what happens to you."  Cast them all permanently on God, once and for all, and then, don't take them back.

God Brings Good Out Of Bad

"The things you wish were most removed from your life are often the very things that God is using to shape you, your character and mold you into who He wants you to be. He wants to use that problem for good in your life. There's something more important than your pain. It's what you're learning from that pain. God is in control."

"So what's the key? What's our response? Our response is to look past the pain. 'This is the reason we never lose heart. These troubles which are temporary are winning for us a permanent, a glorious and solid reward out of proportion to our pain. So we don't look at the temporary situation. We look beyond to see the eternal benefits.' "

"That is why we never give up.  Our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!"

"Today, take courage and find hope in knowing God is with you and can bring good out of what seems to be bad."

Grace, Gratitude & Godly Thinking

"Live with Godly sincerity of heart. Never let the enemy or others slander your conscience when you are doing your best to walk in integrity. Negative thinking, a weak, wounded spirit or conscience, can be detrimental to living life as God wants you---happy, joyous and free, walking in the victory of  His greater purpose, under His grace, with His Peace in your life."

"Stand firm in God's grace and let God renew your mind and be your vindicator.  Live in awareness of all God's blessings, finding gratitude replacing any temptation to murmur or complain."

- God's Peace -

"Trust Me in the midst of a messy day. Your inner calm—your Peace in My Presence—need not be shaken by what is going on around you. Though you live in this temporal world, your innermost being is rooted and grounded in eternity."

"When you start to feel stressed, detach yourself from the disturbances around you. Instead of desperately striving to maintain order and control in your little world, relax and remember that circumstances cannot touch My Peace."

"Seek My Face, and I will share My mind with you, opening your eyes to see things from My perspective. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. The Peace I give is sufficient for you."

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Don't Understand? Trust God!

"You may be facing what seems like a dead end right now - financial, emotional, relational - but if you will trust God and keep on moving in faith, even when you don't see a way, He will make a way. "

"Never yield to weariness of the spirit. At times, the world's cares and distractions will intrude and the spirit will become weak. God doesn't want you to live this way.  At times like this, carry on and soon the spirit will become strong again. God's spirit is always with you, to replenish and renew. None ever sincerely sought God's help in vain."

"Be patient. God knows what He's doing. God knows what is best for us.   He can see the end result when we can't.  Today, be confident in knowing He can and will make a way where and when their seems to be no way!"

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take."

As Far As The East Is From The West

"East and west can never meet. This is a symbolic portrait of God's grace and forgiveness.  When confess our faults and ask His forgiveness, He separates our faults, failures, shortcomings and transgressions from us and doesn't even remember them. He then helps us move forward in the greater purpose and plans He has for our lives as we become more of who He'd have us be."

"We need never wallow in the past, for God forgives and forgets.  This only causes us to squander hours that can be useful and drift into morbid reflection. We, and often even more so---others, tend to dredge up the ugly past, but God has wiped our record clean. If we are to follow God, we should model His grace and forgiveness. When we forgive another, we should also forget the transgression. Otherwise, we have NOT  truly forgiven."

Finding Freedom In Letting Go Of Resentment ~ Letting Go and Letting God -

"Resentment is the number one offender. Life, which includes deep resentment, leads  to unhappiness and lack of peace.  It can also come between you and God.  If we are to live, life happy, joyous, free,  peaceful and serene, we must be free of anger, resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness.  God will help, if you let Him."

"Keep in mind the goal you are striving for, the good life you are trying to attain. Remember God is your true source of strength.  He is with you each step of the way and will not lead you astray.  Do not let things divert you from the path. Do not be overcome by the trials each day may bring.   Try to see the purpose and plan to which all is leading. If, when climbing a mountain, you keep your eyes on each stony or difficult place, how weary is your climb. But if you think of each step as leading to the summit of achievement from which a glorious landscape will open out before you, then your climb will be endurable and you will achieve your goal.  Such it is in life."

"With God's help and direction we will find the good life worth striving for and not grow weary in the journey along the way."

God loves you in spite of, because of and in lieu of your imperfections.

"Many of us take our personal faults and mistakes too seriously. We spend too much time opposing ourselves, being our own worst enemies. Striving too hard for perfection and beating ourselves up when we are less than perfect.   We often judge ourselves more strictly than we judge others and we focus on our faults far too intensely. Of course, there are times when situations are grave and there are circumstances that require us to be serious. We should always be serious about being more of who God would have us be  and want to improve. But many of the little, everyday things we treat as monumental are really not so terribly important. So give yourself a break!"

"God knew every flaw and weakness you would have and every mistake you would make when He created you and called you into relationship with Himself. Nothing about you surprises Him. Sometimes people think God extends His grace to us and then sits back, saying:   'Oh no. Now what am I going to do? I didn't know they were going to do that!' "

"God knows—and has always known—everything about you. He knows what you will think, do, and say every day for the rest of your life on earth. He also knows how He will help you, teach you, correct you, encourage you, and give you grace for all your faults and failures. He is always for you, never against you, no matter what you do. This truth should set you free to lighten up, enjoy being who God made you to be, and have a laugh at your own self."

"You are who you are. You do what you do, and it’s not always perfect. In fact, sometimes you really mess up! That’s part of being human. But if you also love God, have a heart to change, and ask Him to help you, then you can relax. God is working on you, changing you every day, helping you grow. God is not mad at you! Enjoy Him, and enjoy yourself even though you are not perfect."

Let It Go. Let It Be. Let God!

If a friend who you thought would be a friend for life walks out and turns their back on you, let it go.  Maybe they've served their God intended purpose for your life.  If a family member who you've felt close to at once in your life, turns their back on you and moves out of your life, let it go.  Maybe they've not been your best source of support but instead holding you back from God's best for you life.  Maybe overtime things will come full circle and God will restore the relationship.  Let go and let God.

If a job ends that you thought was your dream job until retirement, let it go.  God must have better plans for your life.  If a romantic relationship doesn't work out, let it go.  Maybe this relationship was holding you back from being all God wants you to be and God has someone better out there for you.  If disappointments continue to come your way, let it go.  Maybe your looking to the wrong things for happiness, joy, fulfillment, security, confidence and contentment.  Let it go.  Let God refocus you to where He'd have you be and to what's truly important in your life.

If you are judged and mistreated because of misunderstandings without being allowed to tell the facts and your side of the story, let it go.  God will be your vindicator and settle your case.  Whatever the case may be where disappointments  lie and your joy and happiness seems stolen.  Let it go.  Let God restore your peace and joy as only He can.

Let it go.  Let it be.  Let God!  Today, make a fresh start if necessary.  Let go and let God be God in your life.  He'll take you to places you never dreamed.  He'll put the right people in your life at the right time and pour out His blessings and favor upon your life.  He'll open doors no man can close and close doors no man can open.  Don't let anyone or anything steal your joy.  God has great plans for your life.  A life of greater purpose and life of peace, joy, contentment and happiness.  Let it go, let it be.  Let God be God and do what He does best and only what God can do in your life.

Praying God Sized Prayers. Getting God Sized Results!

"We serve a big God — a God who wants to bless us in a big way.  There is no need too great, no dream too big.  God loves us, and because we walk with Him, He wants to flood our lives with His favor, His provision, His goodness and so much more.   He wants to take us higher than we ever thought possible!"

"When we pray small, ordinary, get-by prayers, then that’s the kind of life we end up living.  When you pray God-sized prayers, you will begin to see the greatness and the goodness of His power. The key is having the confidence to ask, believe and receive — and then allow God to do what only God can do!"

"God meets us at the level of our faith. If you ask small, you get small. But when you dare to ask God to do BIGGER THINGS, and even what seems impossible, you’ll be amazed at what He will do. Today can be the day that you begin to ask, believe and receive in a powerful new way!"

"Don't quit! Don't give up!" -GOD

"And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint."

We can allow our thoughts to dwell on what we haven’t done, why we ought to be more spiritual, or how spiritual we ought to be after all the time in our relationship with God. If we focus on what we’re not or what we haven’t accomplished, we are allowing the enemy to make advances on the battlefield of our minds instead of allowing God to renew our thinking, focusing in on how far we've come."

"Victorious living doesn't come from one major victory right after another. Yes, we do have times when we have great breakthroughs; however, most of our victories come slowly and often after a great victory we face a great challenge.  Victories can come little by little as if we inch forward moving slowly but steadily in our spiritual growth.  In this regard we often lose sight of how far we have come."

"With God's help we are not to grow weary, or  lose heart.  We don't quit. We keep fighting the good fight of faith and continue to move forward, strengthened, renewed and full of His peace. "

"Life can seem to be a struggle, and the enemy would like to defeat and destroy us. We don’t ever reach the place where we never have to fight or deal with life's challenges.  But it’s not just our fight.  God is not only with us, but He is for us. He’s at our side to strengthen us and to urge us onward.  Instead of continuously dwelling on our shortcomings or the times we've failed, we should look at the times we've succeeded and how far we've come---stood our ground and made progress."

"Don’t quit. Don’t give up!  Fear not, for I (God) have redeemed you . . . ; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you."

"God may not take us completely out of troubles or hardships; but, He will be with us!  We don't need to fear because God is with us, fighting for us, working on our behalf.  And in God being with us and for us, what is there to worry about?  With His help we can and will always win!  It's definitely a 'win, win!' "

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."

Remember God's Faithfulness When Walking Through Life's Challenges!

"When you meet new trials, review how good God has been to you, and this will strengthen your faith."

Often in the midst of life's challenges, it's easy to get so focused on the issue at hand and caught up in the heat of the moment, that we may lose sight of how good God has been to us, the times He's brought us through and when He has provided in ways we never dreamed possible.

If we stop, step back from what we're going through and look back on our life, we will find the hand of God has been faithful in our lives.  If we take a moment to reflect on His grace, faithfulness and goodness, we can soon gain a new outlook on the situation at hand.  We can be assured knowing He's seen us through difficulties before and He'll be faithful to do it again.  We can find strength in turning over whatever we're going through to Him, and having faith, knowing that He will provide the best outcome.  We don't have to shoulder the weight of the world on our own, for He is near, to carry our burdens and see us through in ways we never thought possible.

Today, if you feel like your crumbling under the weight of the world with what your walking through in your life, step back, seek God, reflect on all He's done for you and cast your cares on Him.  You are not alone and God has promised us a future and a hope with good plans for our lives.  Today, turn "it" over to Him, walk with a lighter load, and let Him do what He does best---work in ways you never though possible.  He will see you through to a flourishing finish and bring you out stronger, renewed and more determined to continue moving forward in the great plans He has for your life.  His ways are higher and He wants to take you to new levels of victory, blessing and favor.  Let Him!

God Can Touch You Where No Human Surgeon Can

"So often when we walk through a crushing experience, we feel like God is a million miles away. The enemy or our minds may tell us that God does not care and is not interested in our problems;  however, God is nearest to us when we are broken in heart. We are actually as close to God at any moment as we choose to be."

"Whenever your life seems dark and no solution is in sight, the Spirit of God is actually hovering over you, guarding you in the midst of trial."

"Today, choose to be close to Him.  Bring your broken heart to Him and let Him heal it---a "broken spirit saps a person's strength."   Go to Him with your broken heart, for He will "comfort the brokenhearted."   God can touch you where no human surgeon can.  He is near. Let Him do His work, His best work, right now."

God Has A Solution Before We Even Know There Is A Problem

"I am the God of all time and all that is. Seek Me not only in morning quietness but consistently throughout the day. Do not let unexpected problems distract you from My Presence. Instead, talk with Me about everything, and watch confidently to see what I will do."

"Adversity need not interrupt your communion with Me. When things go “wrong,” you tend to react as if you’re being punished.  Instead of this negative response, view difficulties as blessings in disguise.  Make Me your Refuge by pouring out your heart to Me, trusting in Me at all times."

"I am your loving God who cares about your every need and want to help with all that concerns you.  Take comfort in knowing that I go with you and before you.  I already have a solution before you are even aware there is a problem.  Remember, I am always with you working behind the scenes on your behalf.  I will never leave you, forsake you nor let you down."

God Can And Will Take You from Victim to Victor If You'll Let Him

"Are you ready for increase? Are you ready to go to the next level, spiritually, physically and emotionally? Many times, people hear that God has more in store and something resonates on the inside. Their spirit comes into agreement with God, but oftentimes, their natural mind will be bombarded with doubt."

"We don't have to be the life-long victims of past experiences. With God's help, we are free to discard the ideas that inhibit our growth. We are capable of stretching our boundaries to encompass new ideas and new experiences. We are free to laugh, to cry, and, above all, to enjoy new life we've been given by the grace of God."

"This is a new day, a new season. What’s happened in the past is over and done. You may have been through some disappointments; you may have tried and failed, or things didn’t work out. That’s okay. God is still on the throne. It’s time to get a new vision of victory for your life. It’s time for new thinking. You can’t move forward with old mindsets. Let go of the old and embrace the new so you can receive all of the blessings of God's grace and the great things He has in store for you!"

"We no longer have to be victims but victors with God's help.  Let go of self-imposed limitations.  Don't let others bring you down by bringIng up the past.  Be secure in God's grace and forgiveness.  Open your mind to new ideas in which God is planting seeds of greatness.  Experience a new life full of peace, joy, gratitude, faith and let God bless you with His favor, leading, guiding and directing you to the victory He has in store in the greater purpose He has for your life---healing you from the infractions of the past.  Today, be free from the victim mentality and with God's help be a victor with a victor mentality and receive all the great things He has in store for you as you move forward in the life of greater purpose and blessings He has prepared for you by His unending grace."

- FULLY APPRECIATING GOD'S GRACE -

"I do not treat God’s gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose. The grace of God is so awesome and so wonderful that we need to highly esteem it, deeply appreciate it and allow it to work in our lives."

"I discovered years ago that every time I became frustrated, the reason was that I was trying to do something in my own strength instead of putting my faith in God and receiving His grace (help). I was frustrated and struggling with something most of the time in the early years of my walk with the Lord. Receiving a revelation of God’s grace was a major breakthrough for me. Prior to that, I was constantly trying to change myself, change other people, get something I wanted, or change some circumstance I did not like. I was extremely frustrated because none of my efforts ever produced good results."

"Maybe now is a time when you need to embrace God’s grace in your life. He wants you to stop trying to do things in your own strength and simply rest in Him, trusting that He will handle everything in the best possible way. Our works of the flesh (us trying to do God’s job) will always produce frustration, but receiving grace (God’s power to do what needs to be done) always produces peace and joy."

"Because He loves us, He wants to pour out His grace in our lives. When we receive it, we will be thankful, joyful and amazed by what He accomplishes on our behalf.  Have you been frustrating the grace of God that is available to you? Relax, receive it and let God’s grace do for you what you cannot do for yourself."

Keep On Praying & Believing For God's Best!

"Remember, just because you may not feel any different after one short prayer…don't give up!  The key is to continue to pray about everything.  As you do this, His peace will penetrate every area of your life.

Let go of worry, begin to pray with a heart of Thanksgiving and then trust God for the very best outcome.  He will come through, and you will see results that your didn't think were possible! "

Judgement Calls

How quick we can be to judge others with minimal pieces of information and by how things appear.  How often do we run the gamut of the worst case scenarios, rather than giving others a break and looking for the good in them.   Things that appear one way, in truth, can be completely opposite of what they appear.  God and the person involved know the details.  Often if we would step back, give others a break, look for the best in them, and try to see the good, eventually we likely will find that we may have been wrong in our assumptions.

In the end aren't we as God's children, receivers of His grace, mercy, and forgiveness, also supposed to bestow that on others?  Absolutely.  "Judge not, lest you be judged."  "Forgive to be forgiven."  "Let He who is without sin and shortcomings, cast the first stone."

FAITHFULNESS = FAITH-For-U-Love-No-lESS

God's had promised faithfulness to His own. All day-day in, day out, year in, and year out-God's faithfulness is great. We, in self-will, stubbornness and rebellion, may drift away from God, but through it all, "He remains faithful."  We are as close to God at any moment as we choose to be.  "Draw close to God and He will draw close to you."

No matter what difficulty life throws your way, God has promised to "keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it."  We have a choice when we stand at the crossroads of continuing down the path God is leading us on or turning down the path of temptation with all the repercussions it will bring.  When we follow His guide and refuse to take the exit ramp of temptation, we reap the rewards of His favor, blessings, and greater purpose, His promise of "plans for you, a future and a hope."

If life is uncertain right now, cling to the one certainty: God is faithful! "you can be sure that He will keep you strong right up to the end."  "He who began the good work in you will be faithful to see it to completion," right up to the end!  When you call on Him, He will answer.

Walking In God's Grace and Favor

"The God of grace who imparts all blessings and favor, who has called you His own, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, strengthen and settle you!"

When we finally, fully understand how God loves us completely and unconditionally and become secure in the truth that we cannot make God stop loving us; Once we're secure inside God's unconditional love, we'll start cutting people a lot of slack. We won't be as angry as we've been. We'll be more patient. We'll be more forgiving. We'll be more merciful. We'll give others grace as we've been given.

Every situation has two interpretations - your own and God's.  Handle  each situation in the way you believe God would have it handled and walk in the greater purpose He has for you receiving His favor and the great things He has in store for your life!

The Pathway to Peace

The only pathway to true peace is obedience to God.  We can sense His guidance and direction by that still small voice, that God conscious within, and the alarms that blare when we are about to make a bad decision or take a wrong turn in our life.

We are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. "Faith without works is dead."  Today, I will follow God's lead, experience peace, put my faith into action and reap His benefits that come in doing so.

God's Plans For You Are Bigger Than You Can Imagine

When we look around at all the things we have today, how can we help being grateful to God?   Our families, our homes, our friends, our relationship with God.  All these things are free gifts of God to us. “But for the grace of God,” we would not have them.

God’s idea of big is much different than our idea of big.  As long as you have breath, God isn’t finished with you yet. He has so much more in store for your future. Be open to His leading because God’s idea of big is so much greater than anything you could imagine!
