When the temporary challenges of life seem like they're gonna last forever.

"Be strong in the Lord, be empowered through your union with Him; draw your strength from Him---that strength which His boundless might provides."

Often when we are facing challenges in life, it can feel like it's gonna permanently be that way; but it's not.  There have been times in my own life that I've to gotten blasted with back to back challenges.  Times when I wanted to say "God can I just catch a break here for a minute?"  Looking back, those times were mere opportunities for spiritual growth in my own life. Everything worked out and those challenges didn't last forever, even though it seemed they would while I was walking through them.  God's grace and strength proved sufficient.

You may be going trough something similar today, where it seems nothings going right, things keep breaking down, and the challenges seem to be piling on top of each other.  Today, take heart for it will not always be that way and God has promised that His grace is sufficient, His strength is made perfect in our weakness and He will provide us strength in time of need.

"God has commanded that we live in victory.  That means no matter what you're going through, no matter how dark it looks, you can be encouraged that the darkness has to give way to the light.  Defeat has to give way to victory!  Don't go around talking about your problems, go around talking about your God. Don't go around speaking words of defeat and failure, speak words of faith and victory!  Quit worrying, exercise your faith and start worshipping.  Start praising and thanking God in advance that things are gonna change in your favor and expect them too.  God will take you places you've never dreamed of and you'll start experiencing the victories He has commanded to be yours."  Today take heart in knowing where you strength comes from, that this too soon shall pass and it won't always be like it is today---as you let your battles belong to The Lord.

Bless and Be Blessed!

"Seek to rid yourself of selfish desires. This will keep your life simple and give you less to worry about. Then you can wholeheartedly pursue God's great plan for your life."

Selfishness is defined as stinginess resulting from a concern for your own welfare and a disregard of the needs of others.  "Most of the time, worry is based on selfishness. Usually when we worry, we're concerned about how our selfish desires are not being fulfilled. The more selfish desires you have, the more you have to worry about, and the more complicated your life becomes."

"It is God's will that we live our lives free from all anxiety and distressing care. He wants us to be free to serve.  We must not allow the worries of this world to divert us from His purpose for our lives."

"For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from God is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere."

Today, seize opportunities before you to bless others and be blessed in the process finding God meeting your needs often in an abundance that you never dreamed!

" His eye is on the sparrow and I know He's watching (over) me."

" If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?...Relax and do not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving.  Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiatives and God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever things come up when the time comes. "

Do you find yourself worried, anxious and pre-occupied with things of the future or things, (maybe even people) that in reality you have no control over, things you cannot change, things that in reality will likely never happen; but you fear the worst anyway?  Sometimes this seems to be default mode for many of us in our human minds and comprehension; but, with God's help it doesn't have to be.  He can renew your mind and place your thoughts on a higher plain leading you to the right actions and deeds, if you'll seek Him and allow Him too lead you out of worry and into faith---trusting Him.

His grace is sufficient and He promises to take care of His own.  He has given each of us the power needed and equipped us to do the things set before us each day.  Tomorrow isn't here and the past cannot be changed.  Today, put your faith into action over fear, worry or anxiety.  Trust Him, and whatever is set before you to do today, do it to the best of your ability and don't be pre-occupied with things in the future, things you cannot change, people you cannot change or beat yourself up over shortcomings of the past that He's forgiven you for and put behind.  Take comfort in knowing that if God takes care of the birds in the air and the wildflowers that bloom, that much more does He desire to take care of you and all that concerns you.

Today, with God's help, do your best to be your best and who He'd have you be with the things set before you to do.  One day at a time and one moment at a time, let God take care of you, lead you, guide you, equip you and direct you into the greater things He has in store for your life and provide you with His peace that passeth all understanding.

God is good and longs to be good to His children.

"SEE WHAT an incredible quality of love the Father has given, shown and bestowed on us, that we should be permitted to be named, called and counted the children of God!"

"God loves you with an everlasting love. He longs to be good to you. He wants you to come boldly to Him. He wants you to make your requests known. Trust that when you call on Him, He will answer. He will show you His love and lead you in everlasting life."

"God, our Father is good, and He has good plans for your life. If you will maintain your hope, especially in the midst of troubled and uncertain times, He has promised you "double for your trouble". So refuse to give up hope. Start expecting God to do something—something good!"

Today, take comfort in knowing that "there's no greater love than God the Father's love for His children" and that He longs and desires to be good to us and bestow good things on us---His children!

God, I believe in You, even when circumstances try to fill my mind with doubt. Help me to remember Your love for me and to put my faith in You, no matter what!

In His Time - Thy will not mine

"Are you facing any new opportunities right now? Whatever those opportunities may be, it's always important to follow God's will.  Sometimes we can hang on to old, stale situations in life, simply because they are familiar to us, and we're really just afraid of getting into uncharted territory. And then there are times we can sense something new ahead of us and we just want to step right into it—before it’s God's time for us to do it.  It's very important for us to learn to follow the will of God and not our own will or the will of others.

God has a plan for you and me, and the only way to see that plan unfold is to follow His will, and not our flesh or other people or our emotions.

Remember today that whatever God's will is for your life, He will provide the way for you to accomplish it."  (borrowed)

Be thankful even in the little things.

"In everything give thanks.  Give thanks with a grateful heart."

When we live a life of gratitude and thankfulness, we find ourselves complaining less and thankful for even the simple things in life.  If we sincerely take a look around we can all find many things to be grateful. Even the simple things and basic necessities in life that can often be taken for granted like a roof over our head, a place to sleep, food to eat, friends and family God's placed in our life that love and care for us, etc.  It's hard to complain when we're grateful.

If someone opens a door for you, do you thank them?  If someone calls to check on you and say hello, do you thank them?  If someone buys your lunch or dinner, do you thank them?  If someone does something to make your day a little easier or to be a blessing in your life, do you thank them, or, do live life with a sense of entitlement, negative, complaining, murmuring and always finding something wrong with nothing ever good enough and an attitude that you deserve those little blessings?  Do you go on about your day without even acknowledging that someone has been a blessing in your life and thanking them?

Today, be thankful even in the little things and you'll find living a life of gratitude erases the complaining, murmuring and often even the cares in your life.  If someone blesses you, be thankful---thank them.  As we become more thankful in the little things, you may just turn around one day and realize God has blessed you with so much more.

Melted by love

"Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]."

"The God-kind of love bears up under anything and everything that comes. It endures everything without weakening. It is determined not to give up on even the hardest case. The hard-core individual who persists in being mean can be eventually melted by love. It is hard to keep showing love to someone who never seems to appreciate it or even respond to it.

It is difficult to keep showing love to those individuals who take from us all we are willing to give but who never give anything back. But we are not responsible for how others act, only how we act. Our reward does not come from man but from God. Even when our good deeds seem to go unnoticed, God notices and promises to reward us openly for them: 'Your deeds of charity may be in secret; and your Father Who sees in secret will reward you openly.'

Love knows that if it refuses to quit, it will ultimately win the victory: 'And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.'  Don't fail to walk in love because love never fails!" (borrowed)

Out of the pit

"He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on the solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.”

"Everyone goes through seasons when they feel like they are in a pit. That pit can be a frustration or disappointment or a feeling of discouragement, despair or hopelessness. And maybe you can’t see a way out, but you’ve got to know that God is still with you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Remember, God will never waste anything you go through in life. If you’ll keep the right attitude, He’ll turn that situation around for your good. It doesn’t matter how you got there, whether it was by your own poor choices or maybe someone else treated you unfairly, God wants to use that situation to do a work in you. He’ll take that evil and turn it around for your good. You may be uncomfortable at times, but you’ve got to know that you are growing, and God is building your character.

Today, make the decision to shake off any negative, self-defeating mindsets. Choose to cooperate with God. Trust that He is preparing you for promotion. As you keep an attitude of faith, expectancy and thanksgiving, He will lift you up and set you on the solid path of victory He has in store for you!"  (borrowed)

Who is holding things together for you?

"He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."

We all encounter and utilize things in our daily lives that are held together by something.  The cars we drive and ride in go through a rigorous assembly process and are held together meticulously through a thought out engineering plan, so we can safely get from place to place.  We've all likely had something that we've broken and glued back together and the glue hardens and holds whatever the object is together.

What holds your life together today?  Who holds your life together today?  Who goes before you to make your path straight, to keep you on track in life and lead you into the greater purpose for your life each day?  Hopefully all of us can say the answer is God.

There's peace, comfort and assurance in knowing that God, our Creator, cares about our every need, knows our cares, concerns and where we are and what faces us.  Today, take heart in knowing that if your walking with Him and doing your best to be the Godly person He'd have you be and following His lead, that He is going before you, and He will hold everything together in your life, if you'll trust Him and allow Him to do so.

"Indeed, the LORD is the one who will keep on walking in front of you. He'll be with you and won't leave you or abandon you, so never be afraid and never be dismayed."  Today, take comfort in knowing that no matter what is going on in and around you and your life, God is going before you and wants to hold everything together for you.  Will you let Him?    Today, for me the answer is an absolute Yes!  What great comfort there is in knowing my Creator, my source of strength, the One who has all power, is going before me, making my path straight and holding things together in my life!  Thanks God!

Let the weak say I am strong.

Let the weak say I am strong.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Most of us have had the flu or some type of sickness that after it's run it's course, we feel weak in body for a few days until our body recovers from the sickness and our strength returns.  Just as a physical sickness can make us weak in body, so can the cares of this world make us weak in mind, body, spirit and emotions.

It's during these times that we must remember where our strength comes from.  When I try to do something on my own, under my own will and am not fully relying on God for strength guidance and direction, I end up worn out; but when I fully rely on Him and His grace to provide divine guidance, strength and direction, I have the strength needed to face and successfully get through whatever the case may be, being who I need to be, doing what I need to be doing.

Where does your strength come from?  May you find through relying fully on God, the strength needed to meet the day to day challenges life brings.  He won't allow more on us than we can bear.  "In any area where you stumble, God is ready and willing to provide you with His strength. So the next time you find yourself confronted by your weakness, remember and declare that where you are weak, He is strong!"  Today, I'm reminded where my strength comes from.  In Him, if you feel weak today, let Him be your true source of strength, seeing you through, providing for your needs, and carrying you to the better things and greater purpose He has for your life.

Even when I don't see, I still believe!

For many it's hard to believe in a God who you can't physically see.  When you come into a relationship with Him through Faith, you begin to be aware of God and His presence and while you may not physically see God, you begin to see God in things going on around you, through other people, through Him working in your life to bring answers and outcomes you never thought possible.  You may not physically see God; but, you really begin to see Him in many other aspects as He begins to work in your life and the lives of those around you.

"Friend, we serve a supernatural God!  Just because we don't see a way doesn't mean that He doesn't have a way.  Stand strong no matter what is going on around you knowing that He is leading you into victory in every area of your life!"

Today, even when I don't see, I still believe.

Draw close to God and He'll draw close to you.

"Draw nigh to God and He'll draw nigh to you."

We are as close to God at any given moment as we choose to be.  We don't have to get all cleaned up to come to Him nor will we ever be able to do anything to deserve a relationship with Him.   His grace makes it possible to come to Him as we are, regardless of our past, present or future, and come into a relationship with Him. His forgiveness is unending and He desires a relationship with us and will meet us wherever we are!

No matter what's in your past, where you are in the present or what your future holds, God loves and cares about you where you are and what your going through and what you may be facing.  Today, draw close to God and find that He'll draw close to you, forgive your shortcomings by His grace and take you to the greater things He has in store for your life! What greater gift could there be than the Father's love for His children.

His ways are higher.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways..."

"We all have dreams that we’re believing God for and situations we want to see turn around. Too often, we put God in a box and tell Him how to do it, when to do it, and who to use to do it. We’ve got it all figured out: how God is going to bring us out of debt, how He is going to change our loved one, how we’re going to meet the right person. We pray that things will unfold according to our plan. But we have to realize that God’s ways are not our ways. He is supernatural. His ways are higher than our ways. When God does something, it may not always make sense to our minds. If you have preconceived ideas of how you’re going to be promoted and how you’re going to get well, it can limit what God can do. You have to stay open. You may only see one way that it could happen, but God always has an option you can’t see. Why don’t you surrender your plans to Him today? Put your trust in Him because He is faithful. Let Him direct your steps because His ways are higher, and He knows how to lead you into the life of blessing He has for you."

Father, today I put my faith and trust in You. I declare that Your ways are higher, Your thoughts are better, and Your plan is what will remain. I surrender my will and my ideas and receive the direction You have for me.  Thanks God!

Simple prayers work.

"Simple, heartfelt, full-of-faith prayers always get God's attention.  The only way prayer will ever be satisfying is if you simply use it as an opportunity to get God's help and involve Him in everything you do. He's not here to be impressed...He's here to live life with you. Don't perform. Just invite Him in."

Have you simply invited God into your day today?

Where does your strength come from ?

" I have strength for all things in Him Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in His sufficiency]. "

Today, take heart in knowing where your strength, wisdom and confidence comes from and remember you can do all things through Him who gives your strength!

Let God Help.

"I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly."

God wants to help even on the days we don't feel like we deserve it.  He cares about every detail of our lives.  His grace covers a multitude of shortcomings and He looks past those things and see's our heart.  Knowing this and living in an awareness of this should produce an attitude of gratitude, for if your like me, even when challenges are facing you, you can quickly look around and find so much you have to be grateful for.

"Open your heart and allow God's grace to come into your life to help you in your everyday walk. Always remember that when you feel frustrated, it is because you are living by your own effort and need to get back into God's grace by allowing Him to work through you.

Learn to let God do you a favor. Give up trying to deserve God's help, and let Him supply your every need and take you to the greater things He has in store for your life."

Keep calm & with God's help carry on !

"Today. God can help me deal with life, and I have reason to be optimistic."

Worrying does us absolutely no good. It doesn't change one thing, and we waste time by being upset over stuff we can't do anything about— things only God can change.

Every time we get really upset, it takes a lot of emotional energy, tires us out, messes with our health, steals our joy, and still doesn't change one thing. We can't fix things that only God can fix.

Worrying today over something that you really have no control over and no power to change?  Where's your faith?  What about grace?  Don't just hear about grace, but understand that everything in our lives depends not on our merits or abilities or works, but on God's willingness to use His infinite power to meet our needs. This is grace.

Today there is nothing that i'm facing or dealing with for which God's grace isn't sufficient. Focus on that truth today and watch your faith grow as you turn things over to God and have faith that He'll see you through.  Keep the faith, keep calm and with God's help carry on.  No worries, just God's grace actively seeing you through!

God can use every challenge, including challenging people, for greater purpose!

"God can use every challenge that comes into our lives for greater purpose.  Trials test our character and help shape our faith."

We all have times in our lives where something doesn't seem fair, we're mistreated, taken for granted, or seemingly taken advantage of.  While being a child of God doesn't require us to be a doormat and not stand up for our rights; it does carry with it the ability to handle things tactfully, with character, and in a Godly manner---the way He'd have us.  Sometimes the people we least expect are those who end up being the biggest challenges to deal with in life.  With undermining antics, and seemingly an unfair agenda towards us, we are often left speechless at how some people can behave, carry themselves, and treat us.  The question is not how they treat us, it's how we react.  As children of God, yes we take up for ourselves; but, with God's help we can respond to challenging people and situations in life in a Godly fashion.

So, today, if you're at a crossroads with someone or something, and your emotions are disturbed, step back, pray, asked God's protection and care with complete abandon.  Ask for the knowledge of His will and the power to carry it out.  Pray for those who spitefully use you, and do your best to ignore the antics of those who just love to work towards bringing you down.  God is on your side, and He is your vindicator.  If you will do the next right things.  Practice some restraint and respond in a Godly manner, God can use those challenges, (people, places or things) for greater purpose and to cause us to rise higher.

Today, don't stoop to the level of others.  Ignore the antics, naysayers, and those who seem to have an agenda towards you.  Treat them with God's love, and let God intervene.  Pause before acting out of emotion, and ask God to help you respond in a manner that He would have you.  If you practice some self-restraint, and continue to be who God would have you, God will cause you to rise higher, and you'll find that He can use every challenge, including challenging people, for greater purpose and those challenges will be stepping stones to better things and better days ahead.

When you don't know what to do.

" Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness. "

God speaks in many ways.  We all may hear Him in different ways.  It could be the still small voice inside , it could be through another person, it could be through events that happen (open & closed doors), it could be through the God conscious that grows within, that internal GPS that alarms when we are about to make a wrong choice.  God speaks in many ways.

So what do you do when you've done all you can do and your not sure what to do next?  Should you make that move, should you step out in faith and make a decision when you don't know how things will work out on the other side.  One thing I do know is that God will never lead us to make a wrong choice.

Praying for knowledge of God's will and the power to carry it out is a good place to start.  Does that mean that a lightning bolt comes down confirming you made the right choice, or that a marquee reads " Good job, right choice"? No.  If we are doing our best to follow God's guidance, sometimes we have to make bold decisions that may cause fear and what if's to rise up in us and we then trust God for the right outcome.  What it we make a wrong move?  God will help us re-align, He will find us and get us back on track.  He will not forsake us.

Today, if you have a big decision facing you and you must make a tough choice, pray for God's direction, His will and then do your best to follow His lead, step out in faith and go with it.  Exercise your faith, do your best and let God do the rest.  God's got His eye on you and He knows your heart.  That tough step of faith maybe the thing that takes you to promotion, better things, and further into the greater purpose He has for your life!

Whose approval means more to you, God's or man's?

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear..."

Those who are insecure, often seek the approval of others to try to overcome their feelings of rejection and low self-esteem.  When we struggle with insecurity, only one thing will set us free, and that is God's truth. The truth is that we don't need to struggle to get from man what God freely gives us: love, acceptance, approval, security, worth and value.

He is our Refuge, our High Tower, our Strength, our Stronghold in times of trouble and our Hiding Place.  Our worth, value, acceptance and approval come from Him. As long as we have those, we have the most valuable things in the world.

Today, look to Him and be lifted to new levels of freedom, becoming the confident, mature person you were created to be and let your source of confidence and approval in Him become the only source of confidence and approval you need.  Today, whose approval means more to you, God's or man's?

A mother's love knows no end...

" A mothers love knows no end.  It's from the heart of God."

Today on Mother's Day I am blessed and grateful with a mother who has been an upstanding example of what a mother should be.  Kind, loving, forgiving, a person of faith, secure in her relationship with God and who loves her family without a price tag---even in times we (I) may have been hard to love.  One who never gave up hope or lost faith during the hard times life's brought her way.  One who can be depended on.  One of my biggest fans and one who is there through thick and thin.  One who disciplines with love when necessary; but, the discipline never overshadows the love she carries for her family in her heart.

Hopefully you can relate and say today that you too are grateful for your mother; but, there are those who may not be able too.  Your mother figure may have been a sister, aunt, grandmother or a friend.  You may be a mother yourself who didn't have a great mother as a role model; but, that doesn't mean you can't start being the role model going forward and break that generational gap so that its not passed down to your children and so forth.

Whatever the case may be, today I applaud mothers, for what they do, the many hats they wear to keep the home in order, and who never tire with unending love for the family and set the example of God's love, faith and the importance of loving and giving back to others.

Today I'm truly grateful to say that I have a mother whose "love knows no end".  God knew what He was doing when He made her my mom and for that I'm eternally grateful!

Walking though; but, not staying!

" God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet. God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, He's rich in love. He doesn't endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. He doesn't treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is His love to those who fear him. And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. As parents feel for their children, God feels for those who fear him. "

Today you may be going through things that are trying you, testing your faith and wearing you thin; but know the key is that you are going through, not staying.  God does not end in defeat and know that He has good things in store.  So today, whatever the case may be, go through; but, don't stay.  Keep moving forward to the good things God has for you.

Never once

" Standing on this mountaintop, looking just how far we've come, knowing that for every step You were with us.  Kneeling on this battle ground, seeing just how much you've done, knowing every victory was your power in us.  Scars and struggles on the way; but with joy our hearts can say . . . . . .

Never once did we ever walk alone.  Never once did You leave us on our own.  You are faithful, God, You are faithful! "

Grateful today that in the times in which I was distant from God, that He never left my side.  Grateful for a new found relationship with Him that has filled the void in my life and for which I wouldn't take anything for.  Grateful that on the days filled with life's challenges and there's only "one set of footprints in the sand" are the days that God faithfully carries us!

"Carried by Your constant grace.  Held within Your perfect peace.  Never once---we never walk alone."

God often works the most when we see and feel it the least.

We are a spoiled society with conveniences left and right. New technologies are released every day that offer conveniences at the touch of a fingertip. From being able to pay bills with the click of a mouse or the touch on a Smartphone to online banking, walking up to ATMs and being able to withdraw money, the ability to get cash back at checkout and even to "self-checkout" if we don't want to wait in line for a cashier.  Many cars now almost have a mind of their own with advances in computerized technology and functionality being added such that simply by voice commands from the driver it will perform certain functions, GPS us to the right location, and some that even parallel park themselves.

So in this society of I want what I want and I want it right now and I want it to be convenient, we have become impatient people who don't like to wait; but, God is not like an ATM. Prayers are not always answered immediately and sometimes we can even get down right impatient with God in what seems like a waiting game.

At some point in life and often even daily, we have to wait for something, the question is are we willing to wait for God, for His best, trust His timing and trust that He is working behind the scenes on our behalf to bring the culmination of the right things together at His appointed time and for His greater purpose for our lives? The key---are we going to wait with a good attitude, faith and expectancy, knowing deep down, God is at work whether we see anything happening or not?

Today, know that as His child, God has your best interest at heart.  He is putting all the pieces together and at the right time and place, if you keep the faith and wait patiently, you will see the culmination of everything God has been doing behind the scenes come to pass. Today, if you're in the middle of what seems to be the waiting game, know that God often works the most when we see and feel it the least. Take heart in knowing this and that God will come through for you and when He does it will be His best for your best---that you can depend on my friend!

My God will come through always!

"He has given food and provision to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever..."

Lack. The fear of not having enough. The fear of not being able to pay all the bills no matter how hard you work. The fear of losing something you've worked hard to gain or thats of value or needed. The fear of ....

In today's economy regardless of how much we make or don't make, there can be times in which fear that you're not gonna have enough to go around sits in. It can hit you in the pit of your stomach and cause you to feel overwhelmed maybe even breaking out in a sweat in worry. Will I have enough money to pay the bills? Will I have enough money to feed my family? What about the house note or maybe the car note?  Is this the month they're gonna take it?  At some point in most of our lives we've had fears like this. Fears that we are going to lack something we need or not going to get something we want as well.

God is faithful. I've experienced Him come through in the midnight hour when the finances didn't balance on paper---everything got paid. Today, if you're bound up in this fear, are you worshiping your God faithfully? Are you making your petitions, needs, worries, concerns and fears known to Him? Are you asking for His protection and care with complete abandon surrendering your worries and turning them into worship, exercising your faith that He's gonna come through?

Today, If you'll do your part, God will be faithful to do His! "I will not fear, His promise is true, my God will come through, always!"

What does your faith look like when it's forced into the open?

"Consider it a sheer gift friends when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.  You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.  So don't try to get out of anything prematurely.  Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.  If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father.  He loves to help.  You'll get His help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it.  Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought!"

When you encounter an adversity, know that God's not finished. Not only is nothing wasted in His economy, He never ends on a negative! He has more in store for you if you will keep pressing forward.

Don't let your thoughts get stuck on your circumstances. Instead lift your eyes to Him, the Author and Finisher of your Faith. Trust that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf, and He will lead you into a flourishing finish.

Say a little prayer...

Prayer is powerful.  It connects us with God.  It opens the door for God to work.  It's the activity that you and I can engage in when we need God's power to come into our lives and bring wisdom, direction, encouragement, or a miraculous breakthrough.

Prayer connects us to the power of God.  Only God's power can bring peace, instill joy, grant wisdom and impart a sense of value and purpose to a person who doesn't know what to do in life.

Do you want to see God's power work in you life?  Then make prayer and your relationship with Him a priority and watch God begin to move on your behalf.

Are you trusting ?

When we truly trust God, we are able to enter into His rest and allow our hearts to settle into a place of unshakable confidence in Him.

Today instead of being " oh ye of little faith ", trust God fully and see what a big difference it makes in your life !

Call those things that aren't, by faith, as though they are!

Today, are you feeling a little oppressed, discouraged, downhearted and ready to give up? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the challenges life keeps hitting you with? Enough!

Today, by faith, "call those things that aren't, by faith, as though they are" and let God move those mountains, break the enemies chains of discouragement in your life and take you to the next level of victory He has in store. Ask in His name, believing to receive, for He promises nothing good to withhold from His children!

Today, don't give up on God---He's never given up on you! Facing the seemingly impossible? "Call those things that aren't, by faith, as though they are" and watch God bring you through, by faith, in ways you never thought possible!

Whose plans?

"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths."

God is not limited.  He can give you the breaks you need, and the open doors no man can close.  Don't allow the distractions and busyness of life to get you off course.  Is what you're doing moving you toward your God given destiny or are you just wasting time being busy and not making any progress?  Is it your purpose in life?  Are you being who He'd have you be, carrying yourself the way He'd have you, saying the things He'd have you, and responding to situations as He'd have you?

Keep you eyes focused on Him, His direction for your life, and the inner voice within, that internal GPS that guides you in the right direction and to make the right decision and you can't go wrong.  Today, remember God's plans for you are blessed, the question is, are you aligning to His plans or yours?  Walk in His plans and align to His will and direction for your life and experience His abundance in everything you set your Hand to!

Faith without works

"The soul of the sluggard (a lazy sluggish person) craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied."

"God longs to pour out His favor and blessings on you.  He has rewards, victory and promotion for you; but, these things don't happen automatically.  You have to do your part.  You have to be diligent to seek His way, follow His guidance and be diligent with what you have in your hand---your time, abilities, talents, and resources."

If "Faith without works is dead", what works are you putting behind your faith?  Are you seeking and letting God guide you in the intricate details of your life toward the best things He has in store?  Are you working to do your best to be who He'd have you be more each day?  Are you turning a kind hand to help others, treating your neighbor as you'd like to treated, paying things forward and giving back to others when you have an opportunity?  Can people see God in you?  Are you putting good works behind your Faith?

"Whatever you do, do it with excellence!  Be the best you can be.  Go the extra mile even when you think it goes unnoticed because God notices and promises to richly supply the soul of the diligent!  No man has ever seen, heard or even imagined the wonderful things God has in store for those who love Him."
