Resurrection Power

" He is risen ... just as He said would happen. "

We serve a God who is alive, well and filled with resurrection power. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power available to each of us in our daily lives.

Today, in every area of your life, let God extend His resurrection power. No matter what's facing you, God's resurrection power is available to not only see you through; but, to help you be and become all He would have you be and to fulfill the greater plans He has for your life!

Thanks God!

He'll do it again!

" But you will give us victory and we will praise your name forever. "

God wants victory to be yours. He wants us all to live lives of victory, happy, joyous and free. With good plans for our lives and a greater purpose for each one of us, He desires the best for His children.

Sometimes with the challenges life can bring, it's easy discourage and so focused on the problems that we lose sight of the victories, the good things and the blessings God has done for us---the times He's seen us through and the many good things He's done. Sometimes it can be hard to see the forest for the trees.

Help open the doors of God's victory for your life by thanking Him for the things He's done and not losing sight of the times He's seen you through. Instead of speaking words of defeat and failure, speak words of victory over your situation. Instead of focusing on your problems, focus on your God!

Today take heart, confidence and assurance that if He's seen you through before---He'll do it again!

When it looks like the end, it may actually be the beginning.

Most if us have heard the words " it's darkest before the dawn." If you've ever been up early enough to watch the sunrise, you know it does seems darkest before sunrise. The end of the night brings the beginning of a new day, often with bright rays of sunlight!

So it is in life. "When it looks dark in your own life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make a declaration of faith. No matter how long it's been, no matter how many people may be trying to push you down, if you will stay in Faith, God will see you through." He will complete the work He began which may mean new work, the dawn of a new day.

Today, don't give up before the miracle happens. It may seem dark, it may seem like the end; but in reality, the end may be the beginning, the dawn of a new day in your life---the beginning of your next level of victory, promotion, and greater things God has in store for your life. "He who began a good work in you will be faith to complete it!" Thanks God!

Release it, be free, and let God do the rest!

"Release those who have wronged you from what you think they owe you.  That's true forgiveness---freeing others, so that you can be free.  As you walk and live in forgiveness, you show that you trust in God to repay and defend you.  You show that you have faith in God to be your Defender.  God will honor your faith in Him and move on your behalf---every single time."

People Pleasing or God Pleasing?

"For you are God's own handiwork....He creates each of us to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has ready for us to do."

Most of us want to be liked, accepted, and thought well of.  We may be concerned about our character, and not put ourselves in positions that would allow others to think that our character is less than stellar.  I can recall times in my life when I've done both, wanted to portray a good image and a bad one---being so self absorbed and concerned about what everyone thought of me that it was a constant state of mind.  A double life.  While I wanted to be in control, I worked diligently to present a certain image even at times, I regret to say, I took pride in the image being bad because of the attention that came with it.  It was a miserable way to live life.

A few years ago after running from God for years and finally turning my will and life over to Him, I began to do a lot of intense work on myself, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and my image began to turn around.  The closer I became to my Creator and the more I grew in my relationship with Him, one day I realized, that I was no longer consumed with what others thought of me.  If God and I were good and I was doing my best to be who I felt He'd have me be, I was good and continue to be regardless of the opinions of others.

"You are God's special handiwork---equipped and anointed to be the person God has called you to be.  The enemy may try to make you think that you have to conform to the opinion of others; but, if you are secure in who God made you, then you can resit those outside demands and pressures that try to mold you into something you're not.  As you continue to grow in your relationship with God, you will gain confidence in Him that will free you from the opinions of man and allow you to be the person God called you to be."

Today, I'm grateful to be a God pleaser instead of a people pleaser!  Thanks God!

With God - what is you level of expectancy?

"Those who wait on the Lord, who EXPECT, look for, and HOPE in Him, shall renew their strength!!!"

If Faith is the substance of things Hoped for, Hope precedes Faith.  How can we expect things to get better, things to turn around or God to see us through without first having Hope that they will and Faith that God is going to deliver?

No matter where you are in life, what is happening in and around you, today can be a new beginning.  God is a God of second chances because of His grace.  "What are you expecting in life---good things?  Bad things?  Big things?  Little things?  Anything at all?"  Are you in the mindset that nothing good every happens to you---then you aren't really expecting it to?

"Your expectations set the limits for your life.  If you never expect anything good, your're likely never going to receive anything good.  If you don't expect things to get better, then their likely not.  God will meet you at your level of expectancy, according to your faith---your hope."

Today, get your hopes up with God, not today; but everyday.  Wake with an expectancy and excitement of what God is gonna do today!  Build you Faith on the one who wants to turn things around for you, who has good plans for you, who has a good future for you.  Let Him rid you of negative mindsets that are keeping you bound and holding you back from His best for your life.  Let Him free you to receive the good things He has in store for He withholds nothing good from His own.  Don't be discouraged if things aren't happening on your time table; but, raise your level of EXPECTANCY that God will provide exactly the right things, at the right time, and right place.  Today, if you'll get your hopes up and build your faith on Him, God will be faithful to see you through and provide for your needs in ways that may at times leave you in total amazement!

God, I know that you are the Faithful one, for I've experienced it in my own life and I've witnessed it in the lives of others.  I pray that you reach out to each and every person who reads this post/blog today, and bless them, reassure them, free them from any negative mindsets that have been holding them back from you best, and give them hope, faith, and help them raise their level of expectancy that you have good things in store for their life and that with you, through you and in you, ALL things are possible.  Thanks God!

Be your best and God will do the rest.

"Well done, my good and faithful servant..."

There are so many incredible promises we've been given to abide with the Father, to live a "Thy will not mine" life, to follow His leading, to do our best at the things set before us, to be who God would have us be.  Whether work, school, or play, God is there and wants to be apart of our everyday life, and He want to help us enjoy everyday life-happy joyous, and free.

"When you stay faithful and keep a right attitude (being your best), that's when God will promote you.    One touch of His favor (of the Master's hand) and things can totally turn around!  Keep abiding.  Keep being faithful.  Keep trusting.  Stay on that high road.  God will make your wrongs right and promote you in your due season."

Today, do your best, be your best, even in the mundane daily task (no one likes a job half-done).  Keep God in the forefront of your thoughts, actions, and deeds, follow His lead and reap and enjoy the blessings and benefits that come in doing so.

I will never leave you!

"I will never leave you or forsake you. I will be with you till the end of the earth!"

What an awesome promise and assurance in the words above. That God, Almighty God, our Creator as we each understand Him, will never leave or forsake us. There are no variables, no equations, no conditions, no formulas. He has simply promised that He will never leave or forsake us period!

Today, if your feeling God has left you, if you feel distance there, if you feel like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, take heart in knowing God hasn't gone anywhere. In times in my own life if I feel this way I take a close look at my life and see what's shutting me off from the sunlight of His spirit for in the end, God hasn't moved, or gone anywhere---it's always been me whose shifted or something in my life.

Is there something in your life today that's caused you to feel shutoff from God and His spirit? You may already know what it is and you just don't want to give it up. Surrender to win! If you don't know, ask God to reveal the things in your life that are keeping you from His presence and His best.

Today, I'll take heart in knowing that no matter what the conditions in my life are or the conditions are around me, or what I may have facing me, that God has promised to never leave me or forsake me. In that I take heart knowing that He will continue to lead and guide me into the His fullness and best for me and my life as long as I stay sensitive to His lead and don't allow anything to come between He and I! Thanks God!

God's Favor? Are you willing to wait for His best?

"My plans for you are good, to give you a future and a HOPE."

God is for us and that means His favor as well.  Sometimes it takes time to see the favor of God and His perfect plans completely unfold in your life.  It often means waiting for His best, when we often want it right now.

I recently received some news that excited me very much.  It was part of God's favor showing forth in my life and it was something that I thought was going to transpire very quickly and the timing to me seemed perfect.  Later that week, I got a follow-up call basically telling me I was going to have to wait ultimately for His plan to unfold.  Am I disappointed?   Yes.  Am I willing to wait for His full plan to unfold and let His favor work behind the scenes on my behalf knowing that in the end waiting for His complete and perfect plan is best for my life?  Of course.

Today, be willing to wait for God's favor and His perfect plan to unfold in your life, knowing that in the end, it will be worth it all and exceedingly abundantly above all you could of imagined.  Today, God, I will wait for you and your perfect plan to unfold in my life knowing it's for my good!

God brings forgiveness not condemnation!

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Him...."

We are all human.  We fall short from time to time.  It's a fact of life.  Sometimes intentionally; but hopefully most of the time unintentionally, as we continue to learn from mistakes of the past.  If you know God and are working to grow spiritually everyday, you know what it's like to do something that's against God's best for your life, to fall short, and have the alarms begin to go off convicting us of wrong doing.  Call it the Holy Spirit, the Still Small Voice, your God consciousness, whatever you call it---it's God's way of keeping us on track for the best things He has in store for our life.

Today, I'm so grateful that God brought forgiveness, not condemnation.  God's grace is not an excuse to continue to do the same things that you know are wrong for you over and over again and continue to ask forgiveness.  The process should help us learn by walking through the experience and and then try our best not to repeat the behavior in the future.  If you've fallen short, make it right with God, and if necessary whoever you wronged, and move on.  Don't sit in condemnation and get into self-pity, for they are not our friend and it's not necessary; moreover, condemnation is not from God!  Don't feel broken beyond repair; but, give it to God and learn from walking through the experience.

"Feeling bad about ourselves or believing that God is angry with us only separates us from His presence.  He will never leave you, so don't withdraw from Him because your are allowing condemnation into your life.  Receive His forgiveness and walk forward with Him."  At the end of the day, if God forgives, and He does, then His grace is sufficient to see us through when we hit a bump in the journey, and make a mistake.  Today, let the power of God's forgiveness be active in your life and overcome/cancel out any condemnation you may be feeling so that you can move on and be the best God would have you be!

Straightening out.

"When we straighten out spiritually, we straighten out mentally and physically."

I didn't understand the truth to this quote until I began to live it.  As I continue to grow in my spiritual relationship with my Creator, things in my life as a whole continue to improve.  Does it mean that challenges don't come?  No.  Does it mean that there aren't cloudy days?  No.  Does it mean that tragedy never strikes or that we never feel any pain?  No.  What is does mean is that when I'm am spiritually fit, I am suited up to do all sort of things and handle the challenges life may bring without them getting me down, or without them causing me to lose my direction, or my connection with God.

More and more each day I am realizing the importance of spirituality and taking care of myself and my relationship with God.  The importance of asking His protection and care with complete abandon.  The importance of turning my will and life over to Him daily.  The importance of praying for knowledge of His will and the power to carry it out.  The importance of just simply taking time each day to spend quietly with Him, letting Him direct my thoughts, and re-supplying the spiritual energy needed to make it through another today.

Today, if you haven't made God a priority in your life and begun to experience the benefits of living a spiritual life with Him, I challenge you to do so.  Once you do, your life will be forever change in a positive way, and you will begin to experience God doing for you amazing things, bringing you through the storms, and taking you to places in life that you never dreamed possible as His greater purpose for your life unfolds!

Are you really taking care of YOU?

"Are there ares of your life that are not "kept" because you are always taking care of everyone else?"

Balance----Ah, the fabulous thing that so many in life say they are looking for.  Are you constantly on the go, constantly working, constantly taking care of everyone else, and never taking time for yourself?  Are you doing so much that it's also interfering with your time with God?    It's pretty safe to say that at some point you are going to end up stressed out, overwhelmed, and not enjoying life the way God intended.  You may even feel shut off from the sun-light of His spirit as a result.

I am a firm believer in doing good, giving back to others, doing service work, and helping my fellowman, just as others have done for me at times; but, a few years ago, I found myself so busy that I would wake on Monday morning and feel that there was not 1 minute to grab a breath until late Friday night.  My plate was completely overloaded, and I was doing so much for so many and being involved in so many activities that were a good cause until I finally reached point where I was about to break.  I was in denial; but, I was tired, worn down, and after the 5th person came to me over a period of weeks and said Dwight you look tired, stressed and worn out, are you trying to do to much?  Are you taking care of yourself?  Are you taking time to rejuvenate?  While I was taking care of myself spiritually I could not answer yes to any of the other questions.  This was a turning point for me.  I knew somethings had to change.  After spending some time in prayer and meditation and asking God for His guidance and direction---His will, my plate began to clear, I began to have some room for myself, some time that could be "down time", some time to rest, some time to travel, some time to do somethings I enjoy and to take care of myself.  I have today learned that it's OK to say NO and sometimes it's necessary.  I can't be very effective with those God's placed in my life or be my best with the responsibilities He's given me, if I'm stressed out, worn down, trying to do to much and not taking time for myself.  It's also doesn't leave very good quality time with my friends and family if I'm worn out when spending time together.

Are you facing burnout?  Are you stressed out, and running from sun up to sun down?  Are you too busy taking care of everyone else, and have you taken on so many commitments that there's no time for you, much less, time for God, or quality time with friends and family?

Today, I'm grateful to say I've found balance in life with some help from God and others.  Does it mean life doesn't get busy at times and there's no stress?  No.  Does it mean that I'm not giving back, spending time with my Creator, or friends and family?  No  Does it mean that I'm laid up on some deserted island being brought fruity drinks and having servants at my beck and call?  Ha, of course not (I wish lol).  What it does mean is that God has given me the ability to have a quite peaceful dinner at home a few nights a week, or to do something that I enjoy.  He's shown me that when my body is calling for rest, I need to listen.  He's enabled me to know when to say yes and no.  He's enabled me to give back; but in a manner that's balanced so that I'm not running myself crazy trying to do to much.

A friend of mine laughed not to long ago when we were talking about balance and said "yeah, let me know when you find it."  We'll I'm happy to report I have and so can you.  Ask God's help and guidance and I believe that He will show you how to find balance in your life, what to take on, and what to let go of, and in the process free up sometime for you to be able to take care of yourself so that you can be who He would have you be.  Today, remember, living a balanced life brings peace, joy and health.  All things I desire in my life.  Don't you?

Has the new worn off?

"Remember His marvelous work which He has done."

Anything can feel mundane after a while.  When God opened the door and gave you that new job, the promotion, etc., you were excited.  You called your friends and family and shared the good news.  You knew it was God's favor on your life and God moving on your behalf. Now the sparkle has worn off, the luster and enthusiasm have diminished, and the "new" has worn off and maybe you find yourself grumbling about things that you didn't when you first took the job.  Somehow in the the midst of initially being grateful,  now do you find yourself taking it for granted and grumbling over something that was once a blessing in your life? We'll don't let your passion wear off just because you've had it five years.

So it is with relationships and friendships, romantic or not.  God put a special someone in your life and you fell in love and now after having been together for a while, the "new" has worn off.  Same in friendships, that person that used to be one of your best friends, now little things about them get on your nerves, you pick-apart their shortcomings, and hardly ever see them, instead of doing your part to be a friend and loving your neighbor as yourself.

Maybe it's in your relationship with God.  When you initially came to know Him and were growing by leaps and bounds spiritually, and He was moving and shaking things in your life, your were excited, and couldn't talk enough about it; but, somewhere along the way you've lost your desire to follow Him, to seek His guidance, the excitement to know God, to spend time with Him, to worship Him, to be thankful for His goodness and tender mercies.

My friend if your still breathing God still has another victory in store for your life and He's not done with you yet.  Today, take a look at the things in life that you have to be grateful for and get your passion back.  Things that once you were grateful for and today, you've kind of lost that gratitude and need to re-kindle the flame.  Remember the work, provision and faithfulness God has shown forth in your life, and don't loose sight of what He's done or the things He's brought you through, even if it has been a while.  Today, thank Him for His faithfulness, get back to the basics of your relationship with Him, let the flame be re-kindled and let your attitude of gratitude pave the way to continue living the life of blessing God has in store for you.  Today if the new has worn off, remember that with God, all things become new!

- When is the last time you took time out to say "Thank You God" ? -

When is the last time you took time out to "Thank God" instead of asking Him for something? What has God done in your life? Do you have Heath? Do you have your basic necessities in life met (and maybe more)? Haven't their been times God has been faithful to see you through when you didn't know how a situation was going to work out? If you took 5 minutes out of your day wouldn't you be able to find things for which your grateful & reflect on times God has faithfully seen you through?

Today God, I just wanna say thank you for the many things you've done in my life & for all I have to be grateful for. In maintaining a humble and grateful attitude today, may the words of my mouth & meditations of my heart be pleasing to you. May I spend more time being grateful than murmuring & complaining for you truly have been & continue to be good in my life. Thanks God!

"Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph"

God has a purpose, a destiny, a calling for your life that no one else can fulfill.  Get rid of the negative labels that you or others may have placed on yourself---"I'm too old, I'm not good enough, I'm not worthy, I've made to many mistakes, and I’m all washed up.  What will other think about me?"  No matter where these thoughts about yourself are coming from, let God set you free from them today.  Whether they've come from your parents, a jealous sibling, a spouse, a cranky co-worker etc., give the opinions not another thought.  Listen to the voice of God & what God says about you, let God's love flow into your life & transform your thinking, self-esteem & confidence---know who you are in Him.

There will always be negative voices around you; but God has equipped you especially for a certain purpose.  What seems to be a liability (something about yourself that you may not like or be fond of or that you've gone through) maybe the very thing that God uses to help others.  Today, be free from the negative voices around, grab hold to God and take heart in knowing He loves and supports you.  He's your biggest fan.  Let Him begin to do great things & take you to the great places He has in store for your life as you follow Him and His ways each day.

Today remember with God, no weapon formed against you can stand!  God is with you.  Shake off the negative thoughts, opinions, and things that have held you back, ask for God's help, His grace & forgiveness and be free to walk forward and be who God would have you be as He takes you to places in your life you never thought possible.

Where you are is not where you are going to stay.  God has a good plan in store for your future.  When you stay in step with Him, you'll walk right into victory.

God wants to take us from glory to glory, from victory to victory.  Even if you’re between victories right now, keep your passion.  Keep your enthusiasm.  Focus on the fact that God has another level for you---another level of glory, another level of increase, another level of favor.  Will you let Him take you there?

Today, I thank you God for setting me free from the opinions of man.  I thank you for the victories you’ve brought about in my life and the ones in process.  I thank you that you have a greater purpose for my life.  Today, I'm ready for the journey God---take me there!

Thanks God.

Worshipping God or your problems?

"Our thought life will placed be on a much higher plain when our thinking is cleared of wrong motives." "God promises if we live by His spirit (His spiritual guidance & direction) we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

Today, where are your thoughts? Are you waisting your time alone with God each day letting your mind drift into worry about the day to day challenges of life. Are the bills gonna get paid? Is my job stable? Should I change jobs? What if my boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife leave me, etc.? What If that medical report isn't good? Are you waisting your time with God worrying and in morbid reflection or focusing in on the things He's done in your life with a heart full of gratitude and anticipating the good things He has in store as He remains faithful in your life. Are your worshipping God or your problems?

Today, remember God has good plans for your life. As you spend time focusing on the good things He has done, turn over your cares & worries to Him & be free from them to be the person He'd have you be. Be excited about what today and the future with Him holds.

Today, I will spend my time worshiping God instead of my problems. I'll remain grateful and remember He's not brought me this far to drop me. Today I'll maintain peace & serenity based on my stable relationship with God instead of dread and worry that comes with trying to go it alone & worrying about day to day challenges & things I cannot change! Evidence proves God has been good in my life & shows He will continue to be!

A kind word turns away wrath.

I'm sure we've all encountered people who no matter their age can act like children.  It's not just youth, I've encountered people up into their 50's, 60's and 70's who you often can't reason with no matter how hard you try and if they don't get their way or they end up being wrong about something, won't speak to you for days, stay puffed up, slam doors---you know the drill---and carry themselves around like kindergarteners.  It can really be frustrating especially if it's in the work environment where professionalism is key, or in a position where you have to deal with them daily.  It can be even worse if it's family.

I am not perfect, and I make mistakes.  I've learned to take constructive criticism in a positive manner when it's spoken at the right time, place, in the right tone, by the right person and is not a vendetta or someone trying to shift the focus.  We've all heard that "a kind word turns away wrath," and how true it is.  It takes discipline and practice; but it is possible to do and it can make a complete difference when used at the right time and place.

Today, maybe you have on of those "kindergarteners" in your life that you're dealing with.  Remember, "a kind word turns away wrath" as your dealing with them and if you'll continue to take the higher road, do what God would have you and be who He'd have you, you'll be rewarded for kindness never goes unnoticed by Him and in the end can turn the whole situation around.

The gift of forgiveness!

"Invoke blessings upon and pray for the happiness of those who curse you, implore God’s blessing (favor) upon those who abuse you (who revile, reproach, disparage, and high-handedly misuse you)."

"When we make a decision to forgive, we probably won’t feel like forgiving. After all, we have been treated unjustly, and it hurts. But doing the right thing while we feel wronged is extremely important to our overall spiritual growth. It also glorifies God."

I have to admit there have been times in my life I didn't want to forgive; but looking back, until I did, I was the one being held captive, the one with bondage and baggage and the one who was carrying the emotional weight of the situation around. Once I made a decision to forgive, I was free of it all.

Today if your holding onto unforgiveness, take the high road and let it go, even if your not asked to, and be set free from the bondage and bitterness that come with holding a grudge. Take the higher road and God will honor you and take you to greater places in your life! Today forgive as you have been forgiven and receive the blessing and gifts that come in doing so.

Disappointments may be a blessing in disguise.

"God is constantly trying to plant new seeds of victory inside of you.  He's trying to increase you and enlarge your vision.  He wants to take you to new levels of victory; but, in order for this to happen, the seed has to take root in your heart.  Before you're ever going to be successful, you've got to see yourself being successful.  Before your dreams come to pass, you've got to look through the eyes of faith and see them coming to pass."

Ever had a prayer that was answered; but, not in the way you had in mind.  Ever had a situation in which you hoped it would work out a certain way; but, in the end, it didn't transpire in the manner you had hoped.

When I remember that God, who I've given my life too, has ultimately authority, and I remind myself that I constantly, daily, surrender my will and life to Him, I also need to remember, that He has my best interest at heart, and often, prayers being answered in a different way, outcomes not being what I had hoped for, things turning out differently than I had planned, could be part of His master plan for my life navigating me right into the middle of where He want's me to be.

Face it, we all see disappointing times in life; but, are you going to stay in disappointment or remember the prayer "not my will; but Thine be done."  When I remember that His ways are higher and His plans are greater, I can accept the outcomes to be what they need to be knowing that God is maneuvering and guiding my life according to His master plan and will lead me into His best for my life.  Today, don't live in disappointment; but, instead, anticipation that if something didn't go the way you thought it should or an outcome was different than you hoped, that God's is up to something!  Be excited about what He has in store for you just around the corner for those disappointments that you've encountered may have actually been blessings in disguise!

God's not finished with you yet!

God has another victory in store for your life.  You wouldn't be breathing unless God had something amazing in your future.  It's time to get your passion back and be determined to really live out all your God-given days.

Obstacles are simply opportunities for advancement.  If you'll do you part to have a restoration mentality, God will take every obstacle that comes into your life and turn it into a stepping-stone that will take you to a place of higher honor and greater blessing.

Thank you God for your promises that are coming true in my life.  Thank you for keeping me on the path to victory in every area of my life.  Thank you for going to the enemy's camp and taking back everything he had stolen from me.  May I trust you today and every day to do exceedingly and abundantly in my life today, just as you've done before!

What are you expecting, the worst or God's best?

" May the Lord bless you and keep you. May The Lord smile upon you and be gracious to you. May The Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. "

Are you declaring blessings over you life each day as you seek God's will for your life? Blessings that will enable you to be a blessing to others or are you stuck in a negative mindset that nothing ever goes right for you, nothing ever works in your favor, nothing good ever happens to you?

A blessing isn't really a blessing until it's declared. Today call things what they are and declare God's blessings and favor over your life. Stop expecting the worst and start expecting God's best. It may be taking Him a little longer than you desire for Him to come through in your life for the things you've been believing Him for; but, just because it's taking longer doesn't mean it's not gonna happen or God is not at work behind the scenes on your behalf.

Today, stay connected to God and watch for His favor unfold in your life as you continue to exercise your faith that no matter what you may be facing, He is going to see you through. Today, stop expecting the worst and instead expect God's best and watch His hand begin to work in your life like you've never seen before.

Keep pressing forward...regardless!

God is always giving us opportunities to move forward in life. He also gives the ability to be content where we are until theses opportunities and His divine plans come to pass in our lives.

When you step out in faith moving forward as God directs and opposition comes, stand your ground, keep doing what your doing and being who God would have you be. Don't let the enemy's opposition and adversity cause you to give up & quit. Keep your heart tender and continue to speak words of victory over your life. Stay focused on the prize and full of joy no matter what. In doing so you find God's strength helping you overcome opposition and moving you forward through open doors and new levels of victory He has in store! Thx God!

Peace regardless of your critics! :-)

"My peace I leave with you. "

We all have critics.  If you're trying to win the favor of everyone around you, you'll wear yourself out and end up being hurt.

Today, make God given peace a part of everyday life and let the critics be, loving them where they are, giving them to God, and letting them merely motivate you, with a smile on your face, to be better.  God will put the right people in your life at the right time and place, if you'll let Him.  You are approved by almighty God and in the end that's all that matters.

Today, do Godly things and get Godly results.  Let His peace that passeth all understanding be with you in everything you do and His joy be your strength!

Acknowledge Him. He'll direct your path!

"In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct they path."

Notice the above say in "ALL", not just a part, a few things; but, in ALL your ways.  Are you doing that today?  Are you asking God in, not only into your day in the morning when you wake; but, into every aspect of your life as your go about your day.  What about those times when the unexpected arises, do you stop and ask God for guidance and direction or do you go it alone and react on your own best thinking?

It's so easy in the busyness of life to just react when you're hit with multiple things all at once; but, God wants to be there for us, to help us make the right decisions, to react in the manner He would have us, to guide us to handle everything that comes our way in a manner that is pleasing to Him.

When I've found myself in the busyness of the day and I just begin reacting to situations without seeking God's guidance, things can really get off track and I can make a real mess of things; however, when I pause, and ask for His divine guidance and help, no matter how many things are hitting at once, I'm able
to manage seamlessly without delay, be who I need to be and handle things in a way that I'm who God would have me be.

Today, invite God in, not only just to your morning; but to your entire day---your entire life.  Let Him help you and give you strength and guidance during the busyness of life and experience how things can go so much better and what a great final product and outcome can happen as a result of just simply asking for His help, guidance, and direction, receiving it, and then acting on it.

Today, when I'm busy, I'll remember to stop and ask for God's help instead of going it on my own.

Are your mountains bigger than your God?

Instead of talking to God about how big your problems are, talk to your problems about how big your God is.  Look fear in the eye and tell it to get out of the way, you have things to do!  Do your part and keep speaking God's favor over those mountains in your life.  Declare favor over those situations in your life, keep the faith, and get ready to move forward into the victory and blessing God has prepared for you.

Thank you God for filling my life with joy.  Thank you that I am blessed and not cursed.  Thank you that in all things, You cause me to triumph.  Thank you for your strength within me that comes from only from you.  Today, I rejoice in your goodness and say thank you for you have been and continue to be good in my life!

Don't Stop Believing!

Are you believing for something that's taking longer than you'd hoped for?  Don't get discouraged.  God will finish what He started.

Remain faithful during challenging and difficult times and times of waiting on God.  It's in these times God can grow our faith and stretch our vision.  Make up your mind that no matter what, you're going to serve Him, wait on His timing, trust Him and be happy during the process of making it through (after all happiness come from the inside out not vice versa).  When you do, God will honor you.  It's in these times we grow, mature, and are being prepared for promotion.  Simply remain faithful and fight the good fight of faith and in due time you'll see God answer in ways you never thought possible and promote you to new levels of victory in your life "exceedingly and abundantly above all you could ask or think."

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest IF we do not give up!"

If He's everything or nothing at all, have you given him everything?

"Give yourself to God.  Give Him everything you are, everything you hope to be, all your dreams, visions, hopes and desires.  Make everything His, and He will demonstrate His power through your life."

No matter how inadequate or unqualified you may feel, God promises to strengthen and enable you.  Anyone can have a positive attitude when things are going good; but, the way you respond in adversity can make or break you.  Make a decision today that with God's help your going to make it through with a positive attitude and outlook on life, remembering that God's got you and is bigger than any problem you may face!

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in your weakness..."
